Vertex Digital Network is developing a private, read-only analytics tool for the owner of an authorized TikTok account. This policy explains the limited data practices of this public website and the planned internal analytics tool.
Public website
This website does not provide account registration, use contact forms, set advertising cookies, or intentionally collect personal information. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in that message. Our hosting and network providers may process standard request metadata, such as IP address, browser information, and request time, to deliver and secure the website.
Planned TikTok Accounts API use
Subject to TikTok approval and account-owner authorization, the planned tool will retrieve only the profile and organic post insight fields made available under approved TikTok Accounts API permissions. The purpose is internal performance monitoring and content analysis for the authorized, owned account.
How information is used
- To generate private internal reports for the authorized account owner.
- To monitor available reach and engagement information.
- To maintain the reliability and security of the internal tool.
What we do not do
- We do not access unauthorized third-party TikTok accounts.
- We do not sell or commercially resell TikTok data.
- We do not redistribute TikTok data to third parties.
- We do not use the initial integration to publish content or manage comments.
Retention and security
Data will be limited to what is needed for the approved internal reporting purpose and retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose. Reasonable technical and access controls will be used to protect stored information.
